Lee University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Gulf South Conference, is currently accepting applications for a Head Men’s Soccer Coach. We are looking for a talented and experienced coach to lead our Men’s Soccer program. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to both the mission of Lee University and the academic success of the student-athletes. The head coach will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program including: · Coaching the team during traditional and non-traditional segments · Planning, organizing, and supervising practices · Actively identifying, evaluating, and recruiting student-athletes. · Exemplify a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes by monitoring and actively encouraging players to succeed in the classroom · Work within NCAA, conference, and departmental guidelines · Complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Athletics. · Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred); demonstrated success in coaching college soccer, preferably as a head coach.
Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to produce a competitive men’s soccer team is important. Commitment to NCAA rules compliance and Lee University’s mission are essential.
