SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward thinking and engaging Head Men's Soccer Coach to the join the Delhi Broncos, with an anticipated start date of August 2017. The Head Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for all aspects of running a competitive collegiate varsity level Men's soccer program including recruitment, scheduling, equipment inventory, etc. The incumbent will also assist with other coaches with the recruitment of student athletes for all other sponsored men's sports. Ongoing planning and effective communication with the Director of Athletics, Associate Athletic Director, athletic training staff, department secretary, coaching staff and the Office of Enrollment Services is required. The successful candidate is expected to exhibit and promote sportsmanship, professional and ethical behavior as well as serve as a positive role model. Other Athletic Department and Student Life Division duties to be assigned as needed such as game day supervision, assist with intramural activities, committees, possible assistant coaching of another team during the spring semester, etc.
Minimum of 1-3 years of in season college level soccer coaching experience
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record by time of appointment
Effective communication, computer and web related skills
Master's Degree preferred
Collegiate level soccer playing experience
