In this role you will be responsible for the development of a regional Program within the key areas listed below while following the club, mission statement, principles and philosophy.
GPS Early Development League: U7 ? U8
Junior Premier Program: U9 - U12
Premier Program: U13 ? U19
Adult Program: U21 - U23
You will need to be a leader with strong communication skills, forward thinking and ambitious, in one of the fastest growing organizations in the US.
The role is to increase on field quality in player technique, tactics and coaching performance. As well as focus on growth in Player numbers; US based staff coaching staff and increased GPS exposure through League and Tournament play.
Additional responsibilities are to work with the GPS Management team in being a dynamic leader within the Girls sector to our staff, players and families.
Scout and identify talented players that could enhance the quality of the girls program
Train staff to effectively implement curriculum and guidelines provided by the GPS Technical Department
Educate staff in player identification and quality recognition
Support and guide players through the college process
Ensure players have access to, and, are being pushed towards the US Identification programs
Provide player development with access to the highest level of league play within the US
Grow and develop player numbers within the girls program to reach financial target year on year
Comprehensive research of competitors on an ongoing basis (new ideas/monitor growth)
Player recruitment focused at the Grassroots level. Increase participation at the bottom of the GPS player development pyramid
Implement and run various ID Clinics to identify the top players within the State
Staff recruitment – be able to recruit high quality Female staff and coaches to work for GPS
Lead and educate the girls coaches to be able to manage teams, players and parents
Provide your staff with the resources/support needed on a day to day basis
Work with the Premier Team Director to produce a competitive calendar that suits the development of your program
Identify facilities that will benefit players, families and GPS
Oversee regular and consistent roster management including weekly meetings with team coaches
Manage staff schedules alongside regional Director of Coaching
Educate players/families on GPS development pathway
Ensure families are being communicated with in a timely fashion
